Pink and White Cookies

After making Black and White Cookies, I had a request for pink and whites (plus more black and whites).

Instead of making three separate batches of frosting, I made one large batch of vanilla. After each cookies was half-covered with some white frosting, I tinted the remaining frosting pink and turned some cookies into pink and whites.  Then I tinted the remaining pink batter brown with cocoa powder. This time I was careful to thin out the chocolate frosting sufficiently with corn syrup, oil, and water so that it would spread easily and even out to a completely smooth surface..
