Tetzavah Stained Glass Cookie Choshen

More in the update to this post.

Thoughts on making stained glass cookies: if you bake the cookies long enough to brown them, the melted candies start to caramelize and the colors get less bright and more, well, caramel colored. I wonder if you could partially bake the cookies and then add the crushed candies . . .

    Surely it’s possible to add the candies near the end of the baking time? I haven’t tried it, but I don’t think I’d want the candy part to get all burnt! What candies did you use? I wonder if that makes a difference.
