Passover Recipes: What Everyone Else Made

There were lots of interesting Pesach recipes posted this year. Here some that caught my eye:

Shoshana posted lots of fabulous dessert ideas: lemon mousse, chocolate fondue, chocolate raspberry baked Alaska, chocolate toffee almond butter cookies, meringue cookies, chocolate hazelnut cookies.

I’m very loyal to my charoset recipe, but Marlene’s MIL’s Sephardic Charoset sounds delicious enough for a little detour from my usual routine. Marlene had lots of great posts for Passover. I made Debbi Ghindi’s cookies, and I really wanted to make Jennifer Abadi’s Pistachio Macaroons, as well, but just never got the chance.

Claudia’s Marshmallow Nut Log, also posted at The Jewish Hostess looks particularly easy and good. The Kosher Foodies made it and gave the recipes a huge thumbs up.

Baroness Tapuzina posted a couple of nice cookie recipes.

Rivki posted quite a few Pesach recipes, but I particularly want to try her easy chocolate cake and lukshen.

Jennifer posted a recipe for what she promises are easy and good macaroons.

Cafe Liz has a nice list of recipes, with the biscotti, bimuelos and the spinach mina looking especially intriguing. And don’t miss her post-Pesach Mimouna post on mufletas.

Rochel explains how to make your own almond butter.

Miriyummy has a Passover recipe list.  And Pesach Pizza! It all sounds good, but the hot dog roll-ups have my son’s name written all over them, and I must try Faye Levy’s Almond Macaroons. The  salmon sounds like it would be nice any time.

Another great recipe list comes from Hannah. I particularly like the one bowl gluten free vanilla and chocolate cakes, and don’t miss the link to Norene Gilletz’s recipes.

Mrs. S included in a post a link to these lemon almond macaroons from Mimi, and she had a recipe for Pesach rolls. There is also a link to an earlier posted recipe for broccoli kugel.

IlanaDavita posted two sets of links, for sweet and for savory recipes. The lemon pie and the spongecake look great, but my husband would really love the chicken tangine.

Yosepha has yummy looking gluten-free brownies, a recipe for crepes (along with creative ideas for using them), and a nice video showing how to make matzoh ball soup.

G6 has a few favorites that look yummy.

Chavi posted this banana cake after Pesach, but it should be in this year’s roundup (so we can all find it when we need a Pesadich banana cake–that is fat free!).

Nechama didn’t post this strawberry shortcake recipe for Passover, and it isn’t a Passover recipe, but she says her mom makes the recipe all the time for Passover using potato starch instead of flour.

And, Ariella Brown posted a Chol Hamoed trip idea (Gomez House, Marlboro, NY).
